DNA replicated during S phase of the cell cycle. It replicates ONCE for both mitosis and meiosis. In mitosis, there is only one division, so replication must happen only once.

In meiosis, there are 2 divisions, but replication on happens before the first division. It doesn't replicate again the second time around because the second meiotic division is the splitting of the sister chromatids....
(The homologous chromosomes separated during Meiosis one)
